WHAT WE DO
Big Brothers Big Sisters of Central Missouri, an affiliate of Big Brothers Big Sisters of America, has been successfully matching Bigs (mentors) with Littles (children) in mid-Missouri for over 50 years. Our mission is to provide children facing adversity with strong and enduring, professionally supported 1-to-1 relationships that change their lives for the better, forever. It is our vision that all children achieve success in life.
BBBSCMO operates on a model of long-term, one-on-one mentoring. We have designed several programs to accommodate the needs of both the adult mentors (Bigs) and youth mentees (Littles). All activities strive to develop relationships with the youth that contribute to a more healthy adulthood.
